Back when I was in high school, a couple of my buddies were out one night up to no good when they spotted a possum lurking in a yard. They quietly crept up to the car in the driveway and checked the door. It was unlocked. One of them took a big stick and konked the possum on the head just hard enough to daze it and then grabbed it by the tail and threw it in the car and closed the door. This was around midnight. Needless to say, the owner of the car came out the next morning to find a torn up car and a very P'd off possum. I told they they were darn lucky the owner of the car didn't see them and send them off with a behind full of bird shot. I stopped hangin' with those guys after that.

bingo - cars dont roll if the parking brake is set. Hard to believe a bear would spend time destroying a car considering the benefit and cramp quarters.

i just find it unusual.
