Oregon Barrel serial number and selling

Why worry about the next owner having the serial number on the barrel? The scenarios where even an evil anti-2A person could use it against you are deep into the realm of implausibility.

Idk. I always worry about that bubblegum. What if somehow my barrel ended up in a ghost gun and was left at the scene of a crime and the only thing they have to trace is my SN? I don't love the idea of even being questioned by LEOs or my name being involved in some crime... not exactly good for security clearances and what not.

Living a anxiety free life over here. Barrel serial numbers are a serious non issue.
