Barrel length on a 22/45 for good suppression with the cheap ammo

    It's a 6" 22/45 and I'm hearing 4" or less so the cheap ammo doesn't go supersonic. I see those Paclite barrels are 4 3/8 but what is ideal?

    The shorter, the better. Paclite barrels are really nice to shoot. My 4" Paclite with suppressor, weighs less than the original 5" barrel.

    I should say that I'm gonna get the factory barrel cut down and am just trying to decide what length to cut it to.
