Now if they do find out who did this I would be VERY interested is seeing who it was. My "best bet"? It will be some kook who they will not want to make known as they will be a supporter of the wrong side to make it public. If it is some "very right" voters they may well really come down on them hard. If so they do deserve every bit of pain they feel.

Antifa bubblegums would be my bet. They have whole instructions flyer on how breaking business windows is good for society etc. pieces of bubblegum just trying to create anarchy.

This next election may bring those jerks out in a force that will make the BLM look tame. Lot of cities who allowed it last time will hesitate to come down on them this time. Things can get real bad real fast when those in charge hide under their desk. I am SOOO glad I don't live in the middle of one of the deep blue cities. I watched some scary stuff when the protests over us in Nam were going on.

Curious what others think as I try to get beyond partisan politics and look at the bigger picture of these actions.

It's so lovely to see a new form of shenanigans have started up. There were incendiary devices put into ballot boxes in SE Portland and Vancouver. Evidently hundreds of ballots were destroyed in the one in Vancouver.

Really a BS post without citing sources, but based on locations you mention it would obviously be Republicans doing it, since both of those cities will be some of the bluest voting places in the country.

One of my former co-workers sent me a page with GOP voting recommendations on it. It had been prepared by "Old Joe," one of the local GOP committeemen (there can't be many of those in Wash.). I noticed at the top, Old Joe had advised that we take our ballots to the drop off box at the library because he didn't trust the US Postal Service. Huh. Does Old Joe think 640,000 postal employees are all part of the Deep State??! I was talking with my mailman lately, he's a US citizen from the Philippines. He's voting for Reichert, so there is at least one who isn't part of the left wing

Anyway, so today I see the news that a ballot drop box in Clark Co. was set afire. So much for Old Joe's theory of ballot safety.

I took my ballot directly to the election office. Got an email about a day later saying it was received and my vote recorded. Why anyone would drop one in a ballot box is beyond me.

The thoughts behind it are probably the libs outnumber the conservatives by a significant margin so a few of theirs burned are worth the conservative votes being lost.

Just plum laziness.

Well, deductive reasoning would support this but someone stupid enough to do this could also be a Democrat who thinks the few Repub ballots he or she destroyed will make a difference - but forgot about the majority of Dem ballots that were destroyed as well.
