The sad part is their cancerous political ways seem to easily spill over into neighboring states.

Perhaps those Kalifornians who are gun owners and supporters of the constitution should become more vocal, protest and vote these leftist socialists from their lifetime political careers...

The cancer is growing, it needs to be radiated and destroyed... Lest the patient dies...

That would be like me saying, "Perhaps you and your gun owning friends should have become more vocal, protested and voted OBAMA off of his throne in 2012."

Sometimes it's about the numbers. 44% of Californians are Democrats vs 28% Republican. That's a pretty big disparity to overcome.

My guess is Bloomberg is behind it all.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't think he's behind this one. I think that there are more than enough anti-gun zealots down there willing to do it on their own. While most of the politicians in the PDRK do line up to kiss Bloomie's brown ring, his little pat on the head for bending gun owners over is just a bonus for what they want to do anyway.

Why don't we word it like this ^^ instead? What needs to be done is stop the majority from removing rights from the minority! Convincing the non-firearms owners that we all have the same rights and that just because THEY choose not to exorcise a certain right doesn't allow them to remove that right from the ones that do. That is the battle gentlemen.

People take weed from this coast to the other because of the profit margin.

If ammo becomes heavily regulated or banned, a 6 hour drive isn't much for a lot of people.

But I see what your saying, the average joe probably would take the time or effort.

uh maybe but a manifesto I downloaded once from Hand gun control. Sarah Brady's site. One of the listed things was to make ammunition as hard to get as possible.

It's not just California. It's a concept some people can comprehend because they are comfortable in life. All their needs are met so they could care less if someone else is inconvenienced. They have no connection with the idea of self protection.

Agreed. Our Founders gave us a Republic to help ensure that the majority did not run roughshod over the minority...but we see how that's working out as far as 2A goes. Our Founders would be dumping tea in the harbor by now. You have to admire the way they got things done in the old days.

Too tired to type a long opus but I recently visited Kali and talked to a gun shop owner (think small office), 6 foot counter, 30-40 boxes ammo maybe, maybe a dozen handguns, and a dozen rifles, shotguns, and ARs total! It is ridiculous their rules down there, almost nonsensical. Cali DOJ has 3 big 2 inch binders the FFL has to refer to in order to keep "legal firearms to buy, sell, etc." the Their gun laws are made to turn law abiding citizens who buy or own guns into instant felons. Move to Kali, you register every gun you take as a "personal firearm importer". Some SKS' legal, some not. Even their stupid "flow charts" are stupid. Let's not even start on magazine capacity....
