Back in the day I worked for old man Gustofson, on a side that worked opposite another that was ramrodded by his two, then young, sons. It was great entertainment, as we had the old equipment and ran circles around the two daddies boys.
Also did a stint for Jay Browning, right after he lost his hand. He was pretty cranky and I didn't want any part of the attitude.
Personally, I look at Axe Men as just another hyped, edited, scripted reality show. Doesn't do justice to the men (and yes, women) whom work in the woods.
