His info was inaccurate....it was down at 10AM PST on 2/28...was still down at 3 pm (all time zones) and is still down at this moment. Bad info detector on high given that "3 pm" definitive statement that I know was false. I'm leaning more towards the high quality government computer systems than the sky is falling. ;-)

Closer to $5,500! took the time to check, correct accounting for inflation is $4,600
Technically, the $200 was established since the price of a full auto tommy gun in 1934 was $200. So, what's full auto Tommy gun go for today? $30,000ish? But hey, lets not give them any ideas.
