I have a 1st Gen vortex spark and in my opinion the primary arms advanced red dot was superior in every way. Battery life 10x, clarity, ease of operation, brightness.

For red dot, check out the Sig Romeo 4 series. I really like the FOV and the clarity of the glass.
In fact the FBI recently approved a version of the Romeo 4 for duty rifles.
I have one on my primary HD 10.5" 223/556 pistol

I also have a Vortex Strike Eagle II on another rifle and like it allot.

While the Primary Arms makes great stuff at the price point, they are in no way the same as an Aimpoint. There is a reason one cost 5x-6x more.

I agree with 2wheels4ever, if you don't have 600 to spend on a red dot, check out primary arms, there are alot of reviews on YouTube also. I bought the primary arms after seeing in thrown 20' into water on a rifle then drug behind a atv on a rocky trail. It did get damaged in a hi speed impact with a large rock sticking out of the ground that sent the rifle flying in the air. But it still worked.
