As stated and pictured in the original post. Mine has a KNK +3 pistol buffer tube. And yes it uses a standard carbine buffer spring and yes it has a plug in it.

After I googled "KNK" I realized you meant "KAK" so I thought I would link to it so others could find it.

KAK, KNK, Its got a K on both ends and they make AR stuff
