Anyone try/like .44 cal rifle bullets in lever action?

So you were wanting more like 450 Bushmaster, or 458 bolt guns. Ones that aren't tube fed. I think Browning BLR's have a box magazine as well.

im thinking more along the lines if .300 blk was straight walled case.... like these in OP... but are there bigger bore that use a rifle shaped bullet besides 50 bmg?

Well, you could go with the 444 Marlin, you'd still have to single load most likely in a lever gun or those bullets would be perfect in a single shot. CV Arms makes their single shot in both 444 and 44 Mag. They are good guns, owned by Berga. I've got one in 45-70.

I shoot an T/C Encore in .44 mag great little rifle for hunting in the timber/brush.

Not sure if anybody has actually ever had a pointy bullet touch off a round in front of it in a tube fed mag?

Granted, he admits it was caused by his own error when he let the follower slam home against cartridges in a partially loaded tube. It's not a common occurrence, but it does happen from time to time and is worth being aware of.

Even when I load my early tube feed Henry .357 I don't have it totally vertical - I keep it at about 45 degrees or thereabouts and just let the rounds slide gently down.
