Don't know anything about that but I claim it's Larping when I put some crazy bubblegum on a gun just to see what it would look like or to be funny. Fe mounting a subgun (sbr) as a vertical grip on a shotgun. Soemday I'm gonna see if I can mount a subgun (sbr) and 2 pistols (sbrs) to that shotgun. Can you say front heavy?

The key is to have all different calibers. So 4 calibers on one gun and like 35 lbs...

Training is one thing...and all well and good.
LARP...should not be considered the same.

One is training...the other has the word play in it....

The two really don't seem to me at least , to need or require to have the same mindset , so to speak.

I totally get it. Let me correct myself I'm looking for people to train with.

My buddies and I used to go to GenCon (the OG nerd D&D gaming convention). A word of warning: Stay away from the "Vampire the Masquerade" LARPers.

For me Larping means "bubbleguming around". Like putting Hollywood bullbubblegum on your gun for the sake of bubbleguming around, not something you would ever use outside of that purpose. Something like putting a 24x scope on a Mac10. Grenade launcher on an mp5. Stuff for the sake of fun. Not sure what the actual definition means.

Once during a FTX...
We weren't issued blanks for whatever reason ...
Anyways....
My platoon was given the classic order to :
" Men , take that hill ! "

So there we were ....
In the hot sun charging up that hill doing all that good old Infantry "fire and maneuver " stuff...
All the while yelling : Bang , Bang....I swear I remember our 60 gunner yelling : "Budda , Budda , Budda "...
Just like in an old Sgt. Rock comic book.

Meanwhile the OPFOR troops were yelling back just as loudly...
Bang , Bang ...Boom...I got you...

When we got about to the middle of hill...we all kinda just said f#@K it...and stopped and started laughing...
A bunch of so called grown men yelling their fool heads off just like kids playing Army

Our Lieutenant did not like or appreciate our sense of irony...luckily our First Sergeant did ...

My buddy, one of the ones that used to go to GenCon, met Gygax and still has to this day a 1st edition AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide signed by him.
