Rather than enrich the bank accounts of attorneys, I'm weighing the practicality of using Legalzoom instead, to draw up some common estate documents like wills, living wills, trusts, non-revocable trusts, etc., for when we're gone. Basically, we want to specify how medium-size assets will be distributed to our adult children and grandkids - and keep it out of probate. It looks, at a glance, like there's an estate package for $400 that includes a month of legal advice, and the option to continue monthly with consulting thereafter for not very much.
Anyone here with actual experience using Legalzoom (or maybe at the other end, as a beneficiary/inheritor)?
Appreciate any recommendations/warnings, etc.
Thanks.
