Keep it for Home D as a fallback option. M193 is "close enough" ballistically to be used for training, though it can do a real number for Serious Social Situation work too.

I keep a few magazines loaded with 64gr Speer Gold Dot JSP for HD. Then 62gr LAP as a backup.

I've been looking for a good price on that... and data about if it's adequate out of a 10.3" barrel since IIRC it's only .223 pressure rather than the hotter 5.56.

Yea I know Speer release 5.56mm Gold Dot rounds but now they only do .223 rounds. Depending you barrel length and twist with a 1/7 you can order 75gr Gold Dots instead of the 62gr or 64gr. I have one rifle with a 1/9" twist so I use all 64gr JSP.
