Aloha, Mark

Certainly one of the most interesting actors of our age. I can't remember him ever playing a role I didn't like (well, never mind, he did do The Hunger Games)...
Pro tip; you can like a role but still hate the movie. I actually like the music from that abomination. The dark version of "everyone want to rule the world" is a nice alternative cover to the happy, upbeat original.

True. I still get the feeling he did that role and laughed all the way to the bank because of the ridiculous money he was paid for those movies...

You know, I think you're right ...

Best part in the Dirty Dozen (playing the general): "Where are you from, son?"

In his role as father of Nicole Kidman's character in Cold Mountain, I found myself teary-eyed not for his character when he slumped at his lunch table outdoors, but for Sutherland himself.

...and now it's for real.

How many other actors instantly bring a smile or a smirk to one's face immediately when he walks on to the screen?

Go with God, Oddball! Go catch some rays.

I dint like that character at all until the end where he said they promised never to lie to each other.
There was an honor...

My three fave movies of Donald Sutherland:

1. Klute
2. The Eye of the Needle
3. The Eagle Has Landed

I've enjoyed Kelly's Heroes but parody isn't my favorite artistic form.
