I'm so freaking happy they put one in Hillsboro.

I had one right down the street from me in Reno and when I moved here the nearest one wasn't worth trying to get to.

I went there for the 1st time today. I was smiling the whole time. Like a kid in a candy store.

I've delivered to that store... a real PITA w a 75' long truck, but doable w some curb action.

I use my ACE here in SE PDX whenever possible. I have a story about the Gresham Lowes (which led to me walking out p*ssed and placing a $2000 order w Parr), but I'll leave it at that... it's long and boring.
Yeah, our ACE is a nice little store but I could see how it's location would make delivering in a rig a huge PITA

And ... we have one in Cave Junction OR. Like a candy store. You would be amazed how many mundane Ace Hardware nuts, springs, detents, bolts and screws and washers reside inside various AR15 and USGI M1 Carbines! :)

Ours also has a vast assortment of Dremel Tool accessories.

I have LONG missed them. Before the "big box" hardware stores there used to be an Ace pretty close to almost everywhere you lived or worked. As the big box idea took over they all went away and it was sad. Every time I shop at one of the boxes I get frustrated with finding what I need. Seldom ask for help as that is more often than not worse. One trip back I needed a new set of tank bolts for one of the toilets. They sell them in "kit's" with the seal and bolts but of course I was having trouble finding them. Woman I was with, after I said don't, stopped some help to ask. He told me "we don't sell that, you would have to buy a new toilet, isle # .......". I kept looking till I stumbled onto them. Showed the gal I was with and said "This is why I did not ask". :) Walk into an Ace and if I did not find it in first try someone would have said, "this right here sir". I miss those days.

We have one in Silverton connected to Hi-School pharmacy-it is one stop shopping, the wife goes to the pharmacy side and I head over to the ACE side and see if they have any deals on ammo.

"Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks."

One time while shopping there, I found every CONCEIVABLE iteration of half-moon woodruff keys I never REMOTELY imagined existed ....

Lost one of the pins holding my AR upper on the lower. Went to Ace and got a pin with a Cotter pin through it instead of a detent like the original because no time/gun shop.

Went to the range and all these people were coming to look at the cool new AR gizmo.

Thank you Ace

There's an Ace in Hillsboro now? Knew there was one in Forest Grove but that's even better.

Ya, it's in the complex across from the Hillsboro airport. It used to be a Marshals or something like that.

Huh, I'll have to check it out. There is one at 185th and TV highway that's been there for quite a while.

Excuse me? is it between the Home Depot and Lowes? What is an intersection/ address?

Orchard Supply, owned by Lowes, is done, all closing.

Google doesnt' think there is an ACE in Hillsboro ,OR (Hillsboro, IL - yes)
