This very comfy mattress topper was only used approx 6 months before we went from a queen to a king mattress. Our loss your gain. It was always used with a mattress pad which is included in the price. It is a nice heated pad from costco, works good a little worn where a dog tried to dig it up(growl) Basically a throw in so if you want it fine if you don't fine.
