It is a real firearm and dates back to at least the 90s. Though I'm a huge fan of wacky, unusual, or otherwise gonzo guns, I'm not really seeing the point to this one, other than absurdity of a handgun chambered in .50 BMG.
 
1) I drive a big black and silver Triton V-10 powered F-250, and yet I am most well endowed. :D
2) It made my arthritic hands hurt to watch it.
3) It reminded me of the video of the .577 T-Rex rifle. There's a reason that gun has no scope on it!
 
I would too for the gonzo factor. And have to admit having a fleeting wacky idea of Form 1ing one and them mounting it under an AR. But my silliness only goes so far. :p

.50BMG Door breaching round, because screw your door, the two doors beyond it, screw your neighbor's door, and your neighbor's neighbor's door, and their dogs, and everyone's hearing. :D
 
The largest I have dared is a .444 Marlin Competitor SS. You don't go to the range with 100 rounds is all I can say.
