Does anybody have a load for a 460 Rowland with a 250 grain JHP bullet. I have Longshot , Blue Dot, H 110, Red dot , H 4895 in powder. Seems like you load with what you can get and not for the optimum.
Thanks
Larry
Couldn't find any data for HS6 but took a chance and loaded up some with a guess from the burn chart. 11.5 gr HS6 with 200 gr XTP. They shot fine in my 1911 style Rowland. I didn't have my chrono with me , maybe next time I can get the speed.
For the volume capacity of the rowland, I'd be really surprised if you could go over 230gr, keep jamming in a bigger bullet, and you lose all the advantages just trying to make up for lost powder space.
