A feller could probably load 3 Grundel cases to capacity with what a single .300 Win Mag takes, as a starting load!
A .300 will definitely reach well over 2 grand, while the little Grundy will be stretched to its limits at half that!
Figure a .300 will toss a 130 gr Pill at a lazy pace of 3200+ FPS! Smokin hot, it could hit 3500 if all the stars aligned and you held your tongue at just the right angle!

There is nothing magic about 6.5mm bullets. Shape a bullet with the same proportions in any caliber and it will do the same thing.
