300 blackout, how short can you go?

I have one in 7.5" that stabilizes subs well. In fact I've been considering selling it.........

I'm not truly looking for something over 7.5". Which sounds like it starts to suck any shorter, unless you can find a faster twist rate.

For the price of the barrels I listed above, of rather go with a single shot. At 16" single shots are pretty short, so adding a longer can on the end doesn't seem too silly. I used to have an AAC H&R. Sure wouldn't mind having it right now. Hindsight!!!
