Excuse my ignorance but is the laminate stock an aftermarket accessory or a "stock" item? Is this SKS matching numbers?

The laminate stock is original to the rifle. It is merely a different way of manufacturing rifle stocks and is sometimes seen on old Soviet-bloc rifles. My understanding is it increases resistance to warping and such as might result from excessive exposure moisture and/or temperature fluctuations. SKS's, Mosins, etc with laminate stocks tend to be less common. Yes the rifle is all-matching (including the stock).
