I have an early 1920's Stevens 32'in. double barrel shotgun that I had restored by a gunsmith. It has Damascus barrels and the gunsmith says the barrels are sound and fine to shoot. Just have to use black powder loads and NOT modern ammo. One barrel is modified and the other is full choke. I had it restored in 2016-17 (took him 1 1/2 years) and have not shot the gun as yet so I don't know if it works. Some of the bluing has come off but it still looks great for its age, even better than you would expect. The gunsmith restored it completely including the checkering. When closed the barrels move a little but I have not checked this when loaded as it may not do this when it is loaded. Sale can be contingent on working/shooting properly so no problem there. I bought the gun for 200 and it cost me 1200 to restore it so as long as I can get what I have in it, it can go. You can call or text me at 360-281-7097 during reasonable hours. I have included pics but its till better to see it in person. I also have a Henry 30-30 for sale (2016) and a Taurus "Judge" pistol 3 1/2" barrel that shoots .410 shells or .45 long colt cartridges.
