1911 colt failure to feed

in post #71, I covered what I did for mine with the extractor
I didn't see if you checked or replaced yours

I scanned through the posts again. I did watch a video on the extractor and bending it
not enough tension = jams
too much = erratic ejection

I'm going to leave as is and test. It was all gunked up in the extractor and firing pin.

Today's testing
Cleaned out ejector resolved erratic ejection (man thats tough to get that firing pin latch in place)
Thinking I am going to get some more Colt mags. Jammed with Wilson magazine 2x.

Anybody want to Wilson Combat 1911 mags for trade? 223 308 44 or?

Wilson mags work flawlessly for me in my Springfield and Rock Island

Maybe I'll give Wilson a call. I've had issues with Colt mags in Wilson AR. I'm gonna order some more Colt mags.
