A soft-point bullet (SP), also known as a soft-nosed bullet, is a jacketed expanding bullet with a soft metal core enclosed by a stronger metal jacket left open at the forward tip. A soft-point bullet is intended to expand upon striking flesh to cause a wound diameter greater than the bullet diameter. Jacketed soft point is usually abbreviated JSP in the ammunition and reloading industry.
MFS zinc plated steel cased 62gr soft point ammo for sale. 400 rds left in the case. This was some of the ammo I was saving for SHTF or hunting since it is soft point ammo and should do better with terminal ballistics regarding stopping or putting down a larger animal (two or four legged)...

I've shot some of their .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .30/30 WCF and maybe some others and have had any trouble with their loads. Well, they seem dirtier in .38/.357...
