primer pocket
A centerfire cartridge is a firearm metallic cartridge whose primer is located at the center of the base of its casing (i.e. "case head"). Unlike rimfire cartridges, the centerfire primer is typically a separate component seated into a recessed cavity (known as the primer pocket) in the case head and is replaceable by reloading.
Centerfire cartridges have supplanted the rimfire variety in all but the smallest cartridge sizes. The majority of today's handguns, rifles, and shotguns use centerfire ammunition, with the exception of a few .17 caliber, .20 caliber, and .22 caliber handgun and rifle cartridges, small-bore shotgun shells (intended for pest control), and a handful of antique (and mostly obsolete) cartridges.
fired 45 ACP brass large primer pocket. mixed headstamps. no round-o- meter. $50.00 per 1,000 SO WHAT IS A ROUND-O-METRER you ask
well it's an imaginary Eletronic device that counts how many times a piece brass is fired. so there is no round-o-meter. just nice brass for reloading.
Its LNIB.
Swage both large & small primer pockets. Rifle & pistol.
Effectively removes crimps & reforms primer pockets back to like new.
Cash $30
PM if interested. Thank You.
I've built up a population of it now that I load as a stand-alone cartridge. I haven't noticed any difference in performance from rounds using LPP. My understanding was that people using progressive equipment found it to be a nuisance. But I'm loading single stage, it isn't much of a problem...
Once again, Nosler brass quality lets me down. I know its "just a 30-30" but this isnt the only caliber Ive had issues with Nosler brass. A rough measurement is about .020" offset was just enough to pick up by eye, very visible when rotated in a V groove.
Would you keep using this case?
Posting as NEW as this has never been out of the package.
I now have an RL1100 so need for swaging on my 650s.

Downsizing my gear, I haven't reloaded since Covid and I would rather use the funds towards a family vacation.

Howdy,
Have a RCBS Primer Pocket Swager Tool (Part No. 9481).
Works great, comes with swaging heads for both large and small primer pockets.
$30 or make me a reasonable offer.
I received “uniformers” with case prep machine and wondering when they apply.
I tried it a little on this run of 9mm, 5.56 cases but didn’t really feel a bite, maybe a dozen or so. I assume it was more outside friction on shaft (debris/shavings) and not pocket depth cutting edges.
