m1917
The M1917 Enfield, the "American Enfield", formally named "United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917" is an American modification and production of the .303-inch (7.7 mm) Pattern 1914 Enfield (P14) rifle (listed in British Service as Rifle No. 3) developed and manufactured during the period 1917–1918. Numerically, it was the main rifle used by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. The Danish Sirius Dog Sled Patrol on Greenland still use the M1917, which performs reliably in Arctic conditions, as their service weapon.
Decent shape sporter that I don’t shoot often enough. Looking to make room in the safe for another rifle.
I can include a fair amount of nickel plated brass and a few partial boxes of ammo.
target bead with peep rear.
Winchester copy of an Enfield pattern rifle chambered for 30.06. This was the main rifle of American troops during WWI. This model is an early production rifle and features a low serial number. Good condition. Unfired for the last 20 years.
Buyer would pay the FFL fees.
Howdy! Im a collector looking for these rifles:
- M39 or other finnish Mosin Nagant rifles
- No1 Mk3 or other Enfield variants
- A mauser in 7.62 Nato, preferably an Israeli reworked mauser. Open to others however. an FN 7.62 mauser would be lovely.
- an FN-49 in 30-06 or 8mm. No 7mm please...
For sale from my collection here is a M1914 rifle produced by Eddystone. It was made to supplement shortages in rifles in WW1 alongside the 1903 Springfield.
Chambered in 30-06 with various markings including the famous US Ordnance flaming bomb. Bore is good with strong rifling.
No signs of real...
