For sale from my collection here is a M1914 rifle produced by Eddystone. It was made to supplement shortages in rifles in WW1 alongside the 1903 Springfield.
Chambered in 30-06 with various markings including the famous US Ordnance flaming bomb. Bore is good with strong rifling.
No signs of real pitting damage or otherwise negative factors that would impact performance. The bolt does not seem to match the receiver.

I'm gonna guess that this saw a re-arsenal job sometime during WW2 due to the condition. M1917 historians can fill me on the rest!

I can ship if need be. 900 dollars if shipped, 800 if local. Open to trades.

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
Also there should be 'E' markings on the end of the stock, the back of the sight ladder and above the barrel date.
Don't see any E's on the stock, at any point. There's a "206" listed here.

Also another marking here, looks to be an arrowhead. Goes to show how little I'm versed in this particular rifle family. 16037700928543798440737669365214.jpg

The stock is an Eddystone, it has the E stamp on the very end grain towards the muzzle.

It is a M1917 that was in Canadian service then imported by CAI. The C with the Arrow is the Canadian Broad Arrow mark. Most were in fairly good condition when imported. Some were used by cadets. The other marks on the stock could trace the service it saw up there.

The serial number on the bolt was added after it was sent from the US. Not uncommon for them to come back mismatched.
