The .221 Remington Fireball is a centerfire cartridge created by Remington Arms Company in 1963 as a special round for use in their experimental single-shot bolt-action pistol, the XP-100. A shortened version of the .222 Remington, it is popular as a varmint and small predator round while also finding use among target shooters. It has application as both a pistol round and as a rifle round.
Re-listing this Remington xp-100. Custom multi colored Left hand stock but the finish isn't great. Original hard case, dies, brass, and 60 live rounds. Was used but not heavily so no condition or functional issues. Stocks are available to make it a "righty" again. Price: 625.00
Selling an xp-100 chambered in .221 fireball. Custom left hand stock that isn't the best of finishes but good potential. 6X Redfield scope and original xp-100 hard case. Have some live rounds, dies too and plenty of brass for re-loading. $ 800.00
I've been looking a various auctions for an original Remington XP-100 in .221 Fireball. The starting bids are, frankly, all over the map.
Question — what is a reasonable price for:
An original Remington XP-100 in .221 Fireball.
In good working condition and cosmetically at least decent.
