A certain big box store has these at a fairly reduced price. I have ready a bunch of comments about theses scopes but am curious about a few things. I am considering the 5-25 x 50, with zero stop turrets.
1. A reviewer said that while the turrets have the zero stop set there is only 16 MOA of adjustment. Anyone know if this is so?
2. Anyone know if these are 'on sale' at such a reduced price because they are a model that is going away for a newer model?

I am tempted to get on, because zeiss has been the best scope for my eye, that I can afford. Even though I do not have a need for it right now, it seems like a pretty good deal. (A normally $1250 on sale for $799.)
