Decided to take my 1911 and XDM to the range today and get a bit of shooting in. It was the first outing with my XDM, and only the second trip with my 1911. Set up the targets at different ranges from 7-10 yards to see how I could do with acquiring multiple targets...2 rounds on each target, then engage the next target. It was funner than just doing precision shooting. All I can really say is, I'm certainly a damn sight better with my rifles than I am with handguns, but hey, practice makes perfect...and a reason to go out shooting more.

I just downloaded this diagram to help figure out what I'm doing wrong. I haven't done any pistol shooting since my Marine Corps days...over 11 years ago...so I'm just starting to get back into it.
