There's something about an 8 shot 357. It's good to have goals and good luck with search.
When you get one, check out TK customs for gear like loading & unloading moon clips etc.

Northwest Armory in Tigard had a model 27 last Friday, its an earlier model (pre lock), but has a long barrel (over 6").

I lucked into a nice pre model 27 earlier that day, 6.5" barrel. Been looking for one for some time.




They are out there, just have to be persistent. Or look on GunBroker and pay the nationwide auction rate price.

Yes, I think it was just under $1,000. No box, no original grips, just the gun with the Pachmayr rubber grips.
