Since this location is the closest indoor range for me, I have thinking of going there to use the shooting range. Can anyone tell me if it's a good idea to shoot there? Positive and negative comments. Thank you
The short version is no.
I dont think there range is even open.

I don't see an answer to my question about using the gun range at all!! Why don't you Enlighten me Mr. DLS?
The range is not in operation. That is stated ... oh I don't know... at least a dozen times in this thread? More?

So I'm not sure how that doesn't answer your question. So fornthe sake of clarity and save you the effort of actually reading ...

THE RANGE IS NOT IN OPERATION.

I hope that meets your needs!

Cheers.

Maybe he thinks wishing will make it real?

Side note for perspective. When someone sees a thread for the first time later in the discussion, and has a question that probably was answered already. Being told to go re-read the entire thread to look for an answer thats known is like saying "take a hike".

Its simple, the range is not open and welcome to the discussion.

He was also told numerous times after he asked the question that it doesn't exist. Also it would be lazy for him to not go back and at least read some of the thread (Although that is not needed because he was told it doesn't exist).

I don't think its lazy to not want to read 9 pages of discussion for a simple answer, but that said... your right, you even answered his question directly after that its not anyone's job to re-discuss the details.
So.. carry on I guess. Sorry for the confusion.

There was a post from another member in another Wooster Armory thread that provides a recent update on the range (as of last month). I'd provide a link to that thread but I'm lazy and prefer not to spoon feed new members. Took me all of 30 seconds to do a search here on the forum.

Besides, if you've been following this thread from the beginning, you already know the answer.

Cheers? :p

No need for the attitude DLS boy

DLS is accurate and perfectly justified in what he said. You said "I don't see and answer to my question at all!!" As if a small child throwing a tantrum. People did answer your question and the whole thread says the same thing over and over if you took 2 min to read some of it instead of pouting and throwing a tantrum.

Wooster is probably still selling range memberships to unsuspecting customers walking through their front door. "Oh yeah, we should have the range completed within two months." poor dupes...

This ones almost as good as the Nigerian prince that lost his money scam. Once a con man always a con man. This is a simple Steal from Peter to pay Paul. They took there scam to next level extreme with there range prices enough to have one holding there rear end while they have a nose bleed. Sad $hit here

My guess is 95% of the money is from overseas investors. Selling memberships here is just to show they are making progress or whatever and it shows some $ coming in. But 100% a guess on that.

I just stopped by the shop on Friday to check in. I'd decided to cancel my membership that I'd done early sign up for because my schedule is just too busy to really use it a this point and I was honestly tired of them holding my money. I know plenty of people here have been all doom and gloom about the place, but I hadn't been overly concerned. Place still seems to be evolving as things change every time I go in (maybe once every 6 months).

I recognized 2 of the staff so that was nice. They're still under construction and still waiting on some final permits. They told me they're hoping to have the range open in summer but I wouldn't get my hopes up. All in all, I still don't know what their deal is, but they seem to just be floating along while they wait for the range to be open.
