Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Factory ammo. Mag feed is not reliable and the cartridge is high. The guides have been highly buggered with so I replaced them and did remove a bit from them, not much. Now it is low. The carrier appears low too and is pretty worn where it contacts the spring. Rifle was built in 1964. I ordered a new carrier and is different. It does fit however does not move when the bolt is cycled.
Want a project? I am not familiar enough with the peculiarities of this action to afford to play with it.
sound like you need to time the Carrier With the locking block and limit the rise of the carrier.
You know that most all parts must be fitted. The old one just may need to be bent some so it not go up so much. Tony
