Hello, I live in Vancouver, WA and travel to Portland, OR regularly.

From what I've heard OR won't recognize a WA permit? So does that mean I will need two permits? Or is there a better solution?

Thanks!
Get AZ, UT and Oregon because states are constantly changing reciprocity. Nevada is back on the AZ permit now and UT is not. WA residents should have Wa plus these three if they travel.

Handgunlaw is great for keeping tabs on the law, but the app for your phone "CCW Concealed Carry 50 State guide" by Workman consulting updates itself often and includes a section to enter your resident and Non-resident permits.

I have seen several states added and rescinded on the app in the last few years for my permits. It will confirm what is listed in Handgunlaw. The application of laws on Non-resident permits in some states is critical.

Arizona is very easy to apply for, I'm doing it now.
Email for an application packet, send a certificate of a gun safety course
(or other acceptable items, listed on the application), finger print and
mail it in. With money, of course :) They don't even require photos.

Utah and Arizona- especially Utah-must rake in a ton of cash every month
from out of state people getting CHL's. Oregon could learn from it.
