What mag are you referring to? In general I would guess that no it can't be fixed but plastic is plastic. Plastic can be heated and formed. Plastic can be welded with heat etc. depending on what mag it is it might be worth trying to reform them before throwing them away, but only if you like to do that sort of tinkering. 99.9% of people just throw them away.

For example let's says you had one of these lying around and a heat gun, plastic welder, or even a propane torch. You could experiment with pressure to hold it in place and heat and keep pressure until it is completely cool. But don't be surprised if it deforms again soon unless some type of reinforcement is added. Without metal lips it will likely happen again. Especially if left loaded. Just my off the cuff thoughts. I've never tried it.

Will do and thank you!

I just did an impulse order of a Yugo M72 RPK build from Arms of America.

I missed the surplus glory days by a long shot, and have watched milsurp and parts kit supplies continues to dwindle while prices go up. Most of the other items on my wishlist are also long out of production or banned from import, but their cost (high) and availability (low) are relatively stable. Can't miss any good deals when there aren't any around, so I'm not losing much by waiting on them.

I figured I better catch the tail end of "not astronomical" prices for a few items before they dry up too.

I collect antique single shot rifles; mostly Marlin Ballard and Remington. So the one gun I'd instantly impulse buy would be one of those two. I impulse bought two from two different guys in the last couple months after hearing about them and contacting the sellers to work out the deals. Heading out to Colorado tomorrow for the CGCA antique gun show and hoping to impulse buy one or two more if I'm lucky!

I believe I posted it before but a Winchester Model 64 Deluxe would be an INSTANT 'impulse buy' for me depending on the condition of course.

Like a dummy I passed on one several years ago while buying another Winchester from a person who offered it to me at the time.

It was a BEAUTIFUL 1952 year model that looked like a museum piece. I don't believe it had ever been fired, or if so very minimally.
