It'd sure be fun to play with, I'd bet when you're done it'd sell pretty fast. If's it's on your bucket list it might be worth it.
Here, try this idea:

Get thee behind me, SATAN!
😈 😜
Reverse your decision and make the purchase. I bought a Smith and Wesson model 17 in .22lr and it's one of the most fun revolvers I own
One of our local steel match shooting pals went that route, and since has been singing the blues for a few years about his broke down, weak strike, heavy trigger Smith that has been back and forth to S&W, and he can't get no satisfaction. Plus, I do have a thing for Ruger revolvers.

Damn you all, I just price checked and found a decent price. Now I have to go do some heavy exercise and a cold shower until the urge passes.

Or just buy it. The correct number of guns is just one more after all.

If I saw this in a gun store (or any store, for that matter), I absolutely, positively could NOT pass it by. It would be going home with me as my newest gun acquisition.

OK,
Seriously, if I found either of the following pistols at a significantly lower price than normal, I would pick it up.

HK P7

HKP7 - M13

Cheers

Probably a Sig P226 legion SAO. Not something I'd order or go out of my way to obtain but if one fell right into my lap for $1k or so, I imagine I'd bite.

Definitely a Glock 46 which may never be released to the US public so if it showed up, I'd be going home with it
Found a used SAO for just that price. I couldn't help myself either. Not a scratch on it

They are two separate kinds of "pistols". The savage 110 pcs chassis is for bolt action. It has no buffer tube or buffer. The palmetto upper is for a standard AR 15 lower (semi auto).

The PSA upper (which requires a buffer tube and buffer) would look something like this below (8.5" barrel). You can add sylvan arms or similar folding adapter to make the brace (non nfa pistol) or stock (for a stamped sbr) foldable if you want. If you already have an ar15 lower with buffer and brace all you have to do is add a complete 300BLK upper. Just make sure you don't mix up .223 and 300BLK mags/ammo when shooting. Note that most 9mm suppressors will support shooting 300BLK suppressed. Also note that the PSA upper you linked is not a complete upper. Bear creek arsenal has complete uppers for cheap if interested. I'm sure PSA does also.

I still have this lower. Will it work?
sorry for the questions. The only thing I know about AR is to fire it... :s0007:

Yes you only need to add a complete 300BLK upper. I suggest marking mags meant for 300BLK separately from mags for .223 and only put the matching ammo in them. It's critical for safety that you don't mix up the 2 when shooting.

Okay then. I think I wanna get this today.
Besides this upper, what else do I need?
Is the 300 blackout magazine different from 223?

Also in terms of choosing barrel length, here is a graph showing ft lb of energy by barrel length (use the blue line). This is for supersonic rounds, not subs. Also keep in mind shorter barrel lengths = more blast, flash, and concussion than longer lengths. I can't speak to reliability of different lengths of 300 BLK cuz I don't know enough about it. Maybe someone here can chime in on that. I Apologize for messy chart. I keep adding stuff to it ha ha.
Mags are the same (thus the need to make sure to keep separate from .223).

Also a reminder that the PSA upper you linked earlier is not a complete upper.
