I vacillate on its value myself, unlike some who take it with religious Kool Aid. Thankfully I'm not into it for anything more than play money. Before you write it off entirely, do some looking into DeFi (vs crypto currencies), some interesting stuff out there.
I have told it before but then it first hit I was going to buy in. It was like 4 or 5 coins to the dollar. Was planning on throwing a $100 into it fully expecting to lose the money. Back then you had to be more tech savvy than I to buy it. I gave up. By the time you could just go and buy it price had shot up to where I was not going to play with it. Often thought would have been fun if I had found someone to walk me through buying it when it first hit. I would have had several hundred coins. Not sure at what point I would have taken my money out but, doubt I would be working now :s0140:
