I am not super educated on the subject, but below is my 2026 allocations after previously being heavily weighted towards BTC/XRP. Always seeking to learn more from like-minded community members so curious what your 2026 crypto allocations are and the reasons for them? Appreciate any feedback or thoughts…

  • Bitcoin/BTC - 25%, limited supply, hedge against inflation
  • Ethereum/ETH - 20%, dominant settlement layer for DeFi
  • Chainlink/LINK - 20%, real world tokenization
  • Hedera/HBAR - 15%, carbon negative, undervalued
  • Ondo Finance/ONDO - 15%, traditional finance + US treasuries integration into blockchain
  • Kaspa/KAS - 5%, alternative scaling model

It's Ok if you consider it a trading vehicle. I.E.: In and Out.

As a savings vehicle, or store of wealth, I stick with Gold & Silver. The reason for that is because it still exists when the grid goes down.

Most crypto is being used as means for laundering money, i.e: Chinese wishing to get their money to the U.S. Other countries too, as Europe seems intent on going to war with Russia in defense of Ukraine, many will use Crypto to get their money out of the E.U. before Capital controls are imposed, forbidding money to leave.

Thank you sir for the insightful response. Gold and silver remain favorites of mine as well. As a trading vehicle, I've seen triple digit gains in crypto the past few years so hoping the trend continues… cheers to 2026!

Pretty wild when you compare Bitcoin performance against gold and silver. I like looking at this graph on Apmex's website, where you can see performance of gold/silver against various things. Silver crushing it all over the last year plus . . .

When I first heard of this I wanted to drop a C note on it. Fully expecting to just lose the money. It was like several of the coins per dollar then. It took more tech savvy than me at that time to buy and I just let it go. By the time it got to where you could just buy it without this knowledge price had really jumped so I avoided it. Damn if I had just gotten someone to help me "throw" that $100 away all those years ago? :s0140:

I was never interested, we won't go into why. But I had some idea that my son had bought a little many years ago. So then a couple of months ago I asked him about it, he said, he forgot how many he had, and hadn't checked on it in a long time. I'm thinking he bought it back when it was low three digits in dollar value. He ought to check up on it; and sell now. It's gone down lately from a high but still, maybe $88K.

Not cool, been a brutal year so far😵‍💫. Thx for sharing.

My 2026 set up is precisely the same as my 2025 set up. Which itself is precisely the same as my 1992 set up.

I would spend money in some casino (which I don't do) before I would put it in this. Whole idea seems very strange to me. For those who want to? Hey great its your money.
I vacillate on its value myself, unlike some who take it with religious Kool Aid. Thankfully I'm not into it for anything more than play money. Before you write it off entirely, do some looking into DeFi (vs crypto currencies), some interesting stuff out there.
