Chicken fajitas for dinner tonight.

I weighed in at 337 today (6'8"), 7 lbs under my goal, so I had a cheat day and ate 8 eggs, gravy, 2 sausage links, 4 bacon strips, and 4 pieces of bread for breakfast. Dinner was pesto pasta with garlic cheese bread, balsamic/vin salad, and no bake cookies. Back to intermitant fasting, salad, fruit, hard boiled eggs tomorrow. Starting weight of 362, shooting for 285 by New Years.

OK,

So, I am really hesitant to post this here publicly.

Because they are kind of a Secret because they are So Good.

*But* I have been drinking tonight, so I can regret this, Tomorrow.

BUT THESE......ARE TO DIE FOR!!!!! Especially if you LIKE SPICEY!

I can attest to the spice level of these. I grabbed a bunch when winco had them on special. They were good but be warned if you don't like spicy.

Not sure what to call this dish but I am eating it out of the frying pan for breakfast.

Edit: Patty is oatmeal and quinoa with caramelized onions mixed inside patty. Topped with crumbled bacon, cheese, green onions and a dollop of greek yogurt. The patty was fried in the bacon grease

This could be a good thread. My problem is not being able to think up something to eat. Since I lost all sense of taste and smell. I do the cooking, thankfully. Or cursedly? Wifey works full time and I've always done the cooking. Those fajita's look like a good idea. Mexican cooking is my forte. And being very savory/spicy comes through to me. Wifey loves the stuff too.

ODE TO PORK BELLIES

I'll admit it, I'm a bacon fiend;
Alone or with or in between.
It goes with nearly everything,
It gives me joy; it makes me sing.

And well wood smoked is even better
Tasty fulfillment, to the letter
The perfect meal is not forsaken,
Bacon, wrapped in bacon with a side of bacon.

A better treat cannot be found,
We'll add a pilsner to wash it down.
And no-one can complain of that
I strive to keep busy and not get fat

Still, there's an evil I must face
Down in that dark internal space
What yet may be my own downfall
My acquisition of cholesterol

And I know verily where it hides
In those escalated triglycerides
My numbers still are in the green
As I sneak a salad in between

My pork addiction I still crave
Its hazards known but I will waive
I'll make the meetings without a fuss
At Bacon Munchers Anonymous

"Hello, my name is Brian, and I love bacon."

Excellent! I happen to have a large ham shank simmering, with the proper herbs and vegetables, and a bag of large lima beans to put in after a couple of hours. Cheesy herb biscuits will be the accompaniment!
