Hey all I was just wondering what everyone's favorite suppressed set ups are. So far I haven't disliked anything I've put a can on but i do have a couple I really like. The tx22s are riot and my .300wm is actually really fun with a can. Next I'm gonna try my .450 brushmaster if I can find a hub mount for it.

AR rifles w/ Allen Engineering AEM5 suppressors will most-likely remain my favorites. Dated designs that still function effectively.

Without a doubt hk51 (8.5" .308) is tops for me. G3k (12.5" .308), mp5, and mp5k are also very fun to shoot. Flow through cans only. Also Glock 34 and Glock 22 with .357 sig 6" barrel and B&T USW chassis are fun. BRN-180 10.5" suppressed takes the edge of as it does on hk53 (8.5" 5.56). 300 BLK AR 8.5". Arex Zero Tactical 9mm. Way too many to list for 22LR although I agree tx-22 is fun, especially with a Caldwell chasis. Those are the ones that jump out at me for most fun. All the suppressed .22s are fun and most all are drastically different from each other.

Like you mentioned, pretty much everything is fun to shoot with a can, but I've got three that come to mind as standouts.

MP5SD. Not really much to be said...I think it's the king of suppressed firearms. It's my favorite gun from my whole collection. Butter smooth and dead quiet.

Henry Big Boy Model X. Shooting .38spl through this thing is laughably quiet. I love the cool factor and juxtaposition between a lever gun and a suppressor.

Czech Point Vz61 with the .22 upper. I got this more for the cool factor, but it's actually a blast to shoot and runs like a top.

A threaded lever gun is really really high in the list for me right now!

Well I think I have a new favorite! okay 2nd favorite. The no gas to the face is pretty darn awesome. And man .38 is so quiet! Now to convince myself I don't need the woox furniture. That's gonna be hard one hahah

Probably these two:

Top: Mac-10 submachine-gun.
Bottom: vz61 SBR.

Both, with subsonic loads, are the closest to "hollywood quiet". The top one sounds like a sewing machine. The bottom not unlike a staple gun.

Honorable mention:

With 158-grain .38 Specials it is pretty quiet.

As a lefty I have also found that a suppressed lever gun is awesome! I too have a 38/357 lever gun, but what is even more crazy is a .22 lever action suppressed.

There isnt many options out there, as usually the can blocks you from loading on a .22. However the new-ish Rossi Rio Bravo Tactical is threaded, and the loading tube is lower allowing it to clear most cans. It is also super cheap- I got mine for $289. I have a lot of high end guns, and this gun gets shot more than almost all of them!

With subsonic 22 ammo and a Rugged Mustang mounted to it, it literally is quieter than snapping your fingers. And you can shoot it all day long for super cheap!!

I believe it! My 10/22 with a q erector .22 shooting the cci quiet semi auto stuff (835fps I believe) action noise is all you hear. I bet that thing is a whisper!

One of my new favorite setups:

Non ported k size barrel on full size receiver. Ptr vent 2 suppressor. Basement or backyard friendly cuz sound level is same as a suppressed 22lr shooting subsonics.

Comparison of unsuppressed vs vent 2 at 75 yards from the internet. 6.8" barrel:
