Hello fellow Northwest Firearms forum members.
It's great to see so well balanced and friendly information resource with clear guides, lots of useful threads and experienced community.
I used to find answers to gunsmith question on random places, but only yesterday discovered northwestfirearms.com while discovering classifieds option.
Originally from Ukraine, it took me long path to explore and get integrated into much less restrictive weapon ownership culture of US, that is closer to respect of human freedom. I remember short panic when first time received an ordered practicing unsharpened sword, just to realize it came in a full sharpened version, which made me rapidly search how to solve what I counted that time as a huge problem. Owning a firearm was out of possible consideration during most of my life, which didn't change much even during years living in Washington state. Great power always comes with great responsibility, so it took time to become a properly educated and responsible firearm owner. I'm mostly visiting local indoor range to keep shooting skills sharp and get recreational positive influence. It's also very interesting to tinker and improve the firearm usability, safety and reliability.
My other large hobby beside firearms is tinkering with photo equipment and binoculars, and spreading positive lessons results and hints within photo/astronomy community.
Looking forward to explore more about firearms here and hope to add some useful informational contributions over time.
