Western Field shotgun.
Made by Mossberg. Model 550AB 12ga, 2 1/2 and 3" shells, 30" fixed Full Choke barrel with bead.
Serial number D62XXX. From internet files, this indicates a build date prior to 1973.
The shotgun is in excellent condition. Only a few very small marks in the walnut stocks, and no deformation of the recoil pad. The metal, inside and out is very good. For its age, this shotgun is great.
