Fixed power scope is lighter and more robust. No moving parts. Six power is the sweet spot for being able to hit and see your target out to 300 yards, with a wide field of view. It is a good do-all scope.
Made in Japan. Bright and clear glass.
Very high quality scope. Japanese clarity and build quality is way better than any Chinese Vortex or comparable priced scope.
