Warm jacket selection near Medford

Im looking for a new cold weather jacket. I would prefer to buy in person so I can try different ones on. Can anyone recommend a good place to shop in southern oregon? Medford or Grants Pass. Im looking for a warm, waterproof jacket thats not too bulky.

I don't know if you guys have fred mayer down there... but freddy's has a decent selection, and carries carhart, whom I highly recommend.

+1 For both Fred Meyers (They have a decent selection of winter coats along with good prices) and Carhart! I have the hooded and non hooded Carhart jackets and love them! The hooded one can be a bit bulky, but worth the added weight IMO.

I would check out blackbird on west main st. in Medford. Lots of good brands, and locally owned to boot. I would also check thrift stores. I always find good wool coats down here at St vinnies. Wool will keep you warm even when wet, and, topped with a light waterproof shell, is a great all weather set up.
