Hi, I am building an inexpensive large ring Mauser project in .308 and I have everything but the stock. I would love to order a new one from Richards, but I don't really want to spend $200 on a piece of wood right now. I am looking for a stock with a palm swell, high comb, and a barrel channel cut out for a 1.25" barrel, or at least a forarm wide enough at the top that I can open it up to 1 1/4". I would be interested in any wood, laminate, or fiberglass (no soft synthetics or nylon please, I need it to be stiff) Please email me direct at [email protected]
