Walther P22 mag prices

I've been browsing local shops here in the Boise area and came across Walther P22 mags being sold fot $50. When I bought my P22 I picked up mags for $12 apiece. Can anyone explain why 22lr mags are $50?

Same reason everything else is priced high. M&P 15-22 mags were $12 and now if you can find them they are around $25 minimum

There's one on eBay for .99c current bid no bidders yet….but yeah even the 30 a piece I'm seeing on eBay is nuts and they overprice like crazy on there. What I've been hearing the inflations just barely getting started, business' been feeling it bad last couple quarters and it's gonna keep doing the trickle down thing on us poor working peoples

I can see them doubling, but quadrupling....that's just crazy.

I bought dozens of original Bulgarian Waffle Mags for $9.00 once. I think they have increased in price since then
