WA State National Forest Shooting

Hello,

I reside in Woodinville, WA and am seeking a place that I can shoot outdoors. I am a member of two places that have outdoor ranges nearby, but would like to have the opportunity to fire elsewhere. Are there any recommendations on public land and/or the National Forest that is anywhere less than an hours drive? AR-15.

Jack's Pass up Beckler River Road off of Highway 2 is the only place I can think of. Just past Skykomish. It offers about 100yds to shoot. I was up there a year ago and it was fine. Just call into the local Forest service office and they will tell you if its ok or not, that's what I did. They gave me directions to where exactly to shoot. Just make sure you clean up your targets and carry out some extra trash if you see any there. I'm thinking about going back up there soon.
