I have a NIB Ruger Old Army .45 revolver. Nickel finish, never fired. I am not much into BP firearms and considered parting with it. Does anyone know, or have an idea what it would sell for? There don't seem to be many floating around to get a good idea. Thanks in advance.

They are fetching between $850 and $1300 depending on the SN range and year manufactured.
Average is around $900 to $1000
Just picked up yet another one for the insanely low price of $630!

Look on Gun broker, anywhere from 700 to 1300 in stainless, the blue ones are going for 900.One of the best production BP revolvers made.

I love them and own 4 right now. Most of the time the real world not pie in the sky value is around $650 to $750

They are fine guns but don't get caught up in the gun broker pricing which can be unrealistic more often than not.

Most of these insane prices are asking price.
Some that sell for that price are impulse buyers who don't kbow squat.
A fixed sight Old Army is worth more then an adjustable sighted one.
I can't believe the impulse buys and the fools who see a one time buy and jump right on top of the next.

It is amazing what time does to prices on certain guns. When the T/C Patriot came out,I think I picked up a kit for less than 100,now they are going for 450-500!! What ever the market will bear,I guess.

I'll give you $700 tomorrow, cash.

I sold it last week on Gunbroker, auction was going fine and then a chap "buy it now" for $1300! Hated seeing it go but I didnt have any plans to do anything other than store it. The purchaser ❤️S it. Worked out for everyone in the end.

I may have seen that. That's great you a good price. My problem is no one will ship it to Washington without FFL transfer. When the socialist take power you may wish you still had that under the radar gun. Thanks for letting me know :(
