Just clarifying, but isn't a 686 a "L" frame? I just bought some of these for mine about a year ago or I'd take them.

You're absolutely right. I should have posted as K or L frame, since the grip size is identical. Now if I only knew how to change the title...

That makes sense now that I think about it, but with the grips removed the frame does appear to be the same as a K, but I'd never thought about it.

Not sure how to change the title, but at least our discussion will clear it up if anyone reads the post. Good luck!
