This episode of Oregon Field Guide is on the topic of "the big one" and Oregon's level of preparedness, or lack thereof. The show also compares and contrasts with preparations in Japan for similar events.

Anyway, I watched it today, and just thought I'd pass along in the event it is of interest. OPB also put up a preparedness page related to the episode. Cheers. :)

Long video but really insightful. Thanks for posting it.
The biggest take away I thought was regarding the fuel depot in NoPo. Because of the dredged sand it's built on its likely to be wiped out. So add no fuel distribution to the destruction of bridges and road ways and a new reality comes in to play.
